Devonport 1-0 South Hobart

Brayden Mann scored his 17th goal of the season as the Devonport Strikers ground out a crucial 1-0 victory over South Hobart at Valley Road. In a potentially decisive Round 11 battle, it was Mann reacting spectacularly, to redirect a Beau Blizzard shot in the 84th minute that finally broke the stalemate and saw Devonport move back within 3 points of the leaders Launceston City. Launceston City 4-1 Olympia

Launceston City maintained their six point advantage atop the NPL Tasmania table as the season ticked beyond halfway, registering a commanding 4-1 win over Olympia. City chalked up a 3-0 lead within the opening half an hour and never looked like surrendering that lead, running out convincing victors with Tyler Fischer again playing a starring role. Match Report

Hobart Zebras 4-3 Kingborough

The Hobart Zebras have defeated the Kingborough Lions in an entertaining match at KGV. Jakub Sklenar’s early goal was cancelled out by a Danny Cowen penalty, before Riley Dillon struck home to see his side head into half time with the lead. However, not long after the break Timothy Baker pounced, with a fantastic goal equalising the score.  Jayden Hey and Matthew Sanders then doubled the Zebras lead, with Baker hitting again for a what turned into a consolation goal, seeing the Zebras run out 4-3 winners. Clarence 2-4 Northern Rangers 

The Northern Rangers have defeated a gallant Clarence United at Wentworth Park. Early goals from both Nick and Pat Lanau-Atkinson saw the Rangers gain an early lead, before Paul Bremner struck back. The Rangers lead was extended just before the break as Harry Thannhauser gave his side a 3-1 advantage heading into the second half. In the second half it was Clarence who struck first, with Ibrahim Soukary scoring before a second Nick Lanau-Atkinson goal saw his side run out 4-2 winners. Match Report

Hobart Zebras 3-4 Kingborough Lions

The Kingborough Lions claimed their second win of the season, stunning the Hobart Zebras 4-3 at KGV on Saturday evening. A stoppage time penalty from Laura Davis secured the victory in what was a see-sawing contest, that saw both sides surrendering leads, before the Lions landed the late killer blow. Match Report 

Launceston City 2-0 Taroona

Launceston City accounted for Taroona as they claimed a 2-0 win in their Round 11 Women’s Super  League clash. As the competition moved past the halfway point of the season, City maintained their pursuit of Ulverstone with a professional performance that saw them account for the Statewide Cup champions to keep within 6 points of the top. Ulverstone 10-0 South Hobart

Ulverstone’s perfect season continued, this time seeing them smash 10 goals past South Hobart in a demolition job on the coast. Having already bested their younger opponents twice this year, Ulverstone’s third win was their most decisive, running out rampant 10-0 victors. Match Report

Clarence 2-0 University

Clarence United appear to be turning the corner in the PFD Women’s Super League, as they backed up their win over Launceston City, with a 2-0 victory over University. Goals from Chantelle Nowicki and Canadian debutante, Melissa Harrison delivered the win that temporarily lifted Clarence from the foot of the table. Match Report
